Five generations ago Don Frakey was delivering laundry on the back of his bicycle to his father's customers. Several decades later Don and his wife Jannet opened the doors to their own dry cleaning business in Lake Jackson in 1975. In 1985 their son, Stephen Frakey, joined the family business following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. With over 40 years of business the cleaners opened four locations in Southern Brazoria County.

Over the decades the dry clening and laundry industry has undergone many transformations and today Stephen, his son-in-law Jeremy and Janet continue to operate Frakey's Cleaners and Laundry as a family business that specializes in providing the finest in drycleaning and laundry service to Brazoria County.
